Hey y’all!

Taffy here. I’m glad you made it to my corner of the internet. If you’re here, I’m guessing you already know who I am, but if you don’t, I describe myself across various platforms as a writer and editor, wife and mother, drummer and gamer, and above all else, a big ole nerd.

But as far as the more hoity-toity introduction:

Taffeta Chime is a lifelong fabulist and logolept who writes in whatever way she can.

A middle grade science fiction author and Pushcart Prize nominee for short fiction, she has published poetry in Rattle and essays with Renew.org, as well as articles for Complex and Apartment Therapy. Her body of work spans novels, short fiction, poetry, game writing, journalism, and collaborative game narratives. You can check out her portfolio here on the website and buy any of her writing in the shop.

She holds advanced degrees in English from Middle Tennessee State University and has been publishing across genres for more than a decade. She lives in Murfreesboro with her tolerating husband Shane, inspiring daughters Beili and Ailin, and supervising Phantom of the Opera-themed cats, Richárd Firmin and Josephine Buquet.

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your stay. <3
